You know that the Carey Guides address the eight criminogenic needs: antisocial cognition, antisocial personality/temperament, antisocial associates, family/marital, substance abuse, employment, education, and leisure.

You also know that the Carey Guides address responsivity factors, such as motivation, learning style and ability, and gender, and stabilization needs, including housing, transportation, and mental and physical health.

But you’ve wondered…which Guides, and which Tools within the Guides, address each need and responsivity factor. We developed a resource to help! See the attachment for a chart that links each Carey Guide and Carey Guide Tool with each criminogenic need, as well as with responsivity factors and stabilization needs.
